Clientele

Victims of trauma with significant persistent disabilities due to an accident.

Goal

Help trauma victims resume an optimal level of social participation.

Sample Measures

The INESSS Trauma Advisory Group carries out the mandate to run and manage the Continuous Quality Improvement Program in Traumatology. The Trauma Services Advisory Group (Rehabilitation/Support for Social Participation component), working in collaboration with the Trauma Services Advisory Group (Physical Health component), evaluates outpatient rehabilitation facilities and issues recommendations on their designation or on the preservation of their designation as part of the ongoing Quality Improvement Program.

INESSS’s Trauma Services Continuum Team ensures that the Advisory Group’s recommendations are implemented.
